REST OF FEBRUARY 2021 TEMPERATURE OUTLOOK:
After brutal cold in the nation’s heartland, temperatures will slowly moderate as the cold dome of air pushes east to the coast. There will be temperature swings for everyone, and thus below normal for much of the country overall since warmer days will balance out the extreme cold. Here in the East, we will be near normal considering stretches of above normal temperatures will balance out below normal ones. We should not remain on one side of either extremes considering what is normal for mid to late February.
