We will more than likely be waking up to showers and even some thunderstorms this morning, especially across Philly and DC. Some of the storms could be strong to severe. That round of storms moves out, and another round approaches the region late on Saturday afternoon. Again the storms could be strong to severe. Hazy hot and humid. Sunday looks mainly dry, and it will be continued hot and humid with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Monday looks like another hot and humid day, with increasing clouds. A powerful cold front approaches from the west later Monday, bringing the threat of thunderstorms containing strong damaging winds and hail. Highs again in the upper 80s. Tuesday temperatures drop off drastically, and winds will gust between 25 to 35 mph. Much colder Wednesday morning, with lows in the 50s, cooler, with low 70s for the high. Thursday will feature a rain event, overspreading the region, with highs struggling to get out of the 50s. On Friday, the rain remains, with a dreary day, and highs still only in the 50s and maybe only touching 60.
