2 Rounds Of Wintry Precip Possible Next Weekend – Member’s Only

12-31-2016

As for now, the storm on January 6th is looking weak on the GFS, however it will be cold enough to snow across NC and VA next weekend. If the wave of low pressure is allowed to develop just off the coast, then the chances for seeing Southern snow increase ten fold.

Much of the nation is being shown as bitter cold according to the GEFS ensembles. Therefore we need to watch next weekend with a snow possibility anywhere, including the South.

However, the fun does not end there! The GFS is picking up on a NC/SC wintry mix as a round-two double header next weekend! Active pattern shaping up!
