Can We Get Below Normal Temps Mid October?

The current NOAA Climate Outlook calls for a warm end to September and also dry. This pattern looks to hold into October, but then could there be a cooldown to mix up the pattern in mid October? The weeklies of the CFS model show some troughing in the Southeast between the 17th and the 24th. Now is this a guarantee? No. We are just looking when the next potential cooldown could be.

There’s no telling if this will be cooler temps due to rain or storms, or even a tropical system around this timeframe. Or it could be a transition to a cooler pattern.

This is the cool weather lovers next hope could be after or around mid October. But until then, it will be warm!
