Cold Still on Track for Next Week

The cold is still on track for Tuesday next week. While this is not expected to be a sustained cold shot, morning low temperatures on Tuesday could be quite cold. We will be looking at lows in the upper 20s and low 30s for many, and in more outlying areas and the mountains, even upper teens are possible.

This will be part of what could be rain ending as snow far to our north in the Northeast. This will not be a winter storm for the Carolinas despite what you may hear.

Tuesday and Wednesday mornings next week could be our last cold shot until December. There is some guidance that suggests another possible cold outbreak early next month at some point.

For now, no snow is expected for the Carolinas, except for the mountains.

We will be on a temperature roller coaster until the end of this month.
