First Named Tropical System in the Caribbean Possible, Could Spell Early Start for Hurricane Season

There is a disturbance in the Caribbean, and it will slightly strengthen but will move away from land and will not pose a threat. What peaks my interest is that it is only March and is early to have any type of tropical systems forming.

If winds reach 39 mph, the system would be called Arlene (AccuWeather.com)
