As advertised, our cold blast is upon us, and many will face subfreezing temperatures tonight and into the early morning. Make sure you leave yourself extra time in the morning to warm up the car and scrape ice possibly.
Many will see temperatures below freezing including here in Charlotte. This will make for some hat and coat weather, and gloves. Make sure you bundle up before heading out in the morning.
However, the cold will not be limited to just Tuesday morning. Wednesday and Thursday mornings will not be as cold, but temperatures will still be below freezing for some. For the next few mornings, bundle up and leave yourselves extra time.
Make sure to bring pets and plants inside where it is warm. Also, this might be a good time to shut off outdoor water, in case pipes may freeze.
