Models Converge On Solution for This Weekend

1-3-2017

It may have taken a while, but the major global models are finally agreeing on snow for NC/SC/VA. Amounts across the South I’m expecting to be light, with general amounts of an inch or less for Charlotte and Atlanta.

Across eastern NC, I’m expecting higher amounts. Also for Virginia. Not so much for Hampton roads, maybe an inch.

This storm does not affect anyone north of Virginia.

There will also be mixing with sleet and freezing rain. Someone will see ice, likely across NC.

Classic “Southern Slider” is in the making!
