Much Colder Air Moves In

We will transition to a period of below-normal temperatures for Wednesday and Thursday as much colder air moves in. Some locations could experience a 30 degree F drop in temperatures. Cold air will continue to funnel in tonight and Wednesday. Temperatures by Thursday early morning (pictured below) will bottom out in the 20s across much of NC, and in the low 30s across SC.

We then begin a slow warm-up later this week and this weekend, and next week we will feel like early Fall once again. The “torch” is on next week into Christmas Eve and Christmas, as well-above normal temperatures are expected.

Keep it right here for the latest.
