Next East Coast Snowstorm

At this time next week we could be looking at another low pressure system riding along the East Coast bringing heavy snow to the East Coast. The pattern has been prime for stormy weather along the East Coast and will continue to be through the end of November.

The NAO will continue to drop in the negative phase which will cause a block in the atmosphere and allow a cold and stormy pattern to persist along the East Coast.

Another aspect of this pattern which is crucial is the ridge in the Western US. That ridge will allow the trough in the east to amplify and potentially allow coastal storms to undergo bombogenesis.

The potential for a coastal storm is present and will continue to be there as we enter December. Stay with us as we continue to update you on hat is expected.
