Rounds of Relief from the Heat are in Store

Tired of the heat? It has been brutal, especially across Virginia, PA, and portions of the South. The good news is that the Mid-Atlantic, and parts of the Northeast will see the greatest reprieve from the recent heatwave this weekend. We will take a look at the ensembles for a more firm method of forecasting.

Shown is the GEFS for Saturday. Looking nice and cool in the Northeast, but still warm in the Southeast, or seasonable for there.

There also looks to be a bit of relief into Monday for many, except for Florida. We can safely say that the heatwave we are having will not be extended. The heat will shift to the nation’s midsection and then out West.
