Model runs have been consistent with a wintry mix including snow across NC for Sunday. We would advise cancelling any activities due to the roads and sidewalks becoming icy. The NAM 4km shows 2 inches of snow for Charlotte, however this is overdone. I think there will be a LOT of sleet and then maybe only a coating of snow, if that, which will melt quickly. Then it gets COLD behind this system as it departs! Winter hats and coats will be necessary most of this upcoming week!
