Strong to Severe Storms Possible Wednesday

Wednesday we could see some severe storms in Western NC and also Eastern NC. The timing looks to be in the late afternoon around 5pm and into the evening hours. Rush hour could be impacted on the drive home. Check the radar and road conditions before leaving from work tomorrow afternoon. The worst storms look like they will be in VA and northern NC. Eastern SC could get storms but likely not as severe.

Much of Virginia and Northern NC could be under the gun for some decent thunderstorms. The main threats include high winds and hail. The SPC may upgrade the outlook to enhanced if conditions warrant. As of now, the SPC is going with a Slight risk.
