Thanksgiving Travel Disrupted by Snow

11-21-2016

The Northeast will see a second round of snow this week, and it couldn’t come at a better time. Thanksgiving. An area of low pressure will move out of the Rockies this week and will spread snow and sleet across much of the Northeast including Philadelphia, New York, and Boston. The snow is expected to arrive on Thanksgiving Day to the Northeast, and across the Plains on Wednesday.

Looking into the future, a second storm, and a bigger one, will move across the nations’ heartland and across Pennsylvania around December 1st. This storm is one to keep an eye on, as it will cause travel disruptions to much of the US. Use care if traveling and make plans accordingly for this Thanksgiving!
