Wet Weather Returns This Weekend

We have been enjoying absolutely gorgeous days outside, perhaps as a payment for putting up with rain since last May. It has been extraordinarily wet. But now, we will have the “April showers that bring May flowers.” The first batch of rain will likely move through the Southeast US on Sunday, and could last into early Monday. It is with great uncertainty that the mountains could get some flakes. How much is not clear.

The GEFS ensemble mean precipitation totals runs here through 4/3. After April 1st there looks to be a coastal low that will bring heavy rains to the Southeast, especially SC and NC.  Therefore expect another wet pattern to take shape over the next 7 days. However, enjoy the upcoming Friday and Saturday first!
