Matthew Weakening, But Tropical Storm Force Winds Still Likely

10-7-2016

Matthew will remain off shore and will continue his journey just off the Southeast Coast. Thankfully he was, and will continue to weaken due to the high amount of upper-level atmospheric shear. A ton of rain will soak the entire NC/VA region. Flash flooding is likely. Tropical storm warnings in eastern Carolina, and Hurricane warnings at the coast.
