Matthew came from way below the Caribbean, and crossed near Jamaica and over Haiti as he wreaked havoc. Then he curved northwest toward the Florida coast.
It appears as though the GFS wants to take another tropical system across Cuba later this month, and eventually into Florida. There seems to be a pattern of northward-moving tropical systems lately.
