As temperatures plummet tonight across the Carolinas, make sure you’re warm with hats, gloves and a nice winter coat. If you have the ability to sit at an outside firepit, it may be ok if you dress properly.
Saturday morning will be a good one to sleep in since it will be cold. We might warmup into the low 50s tomorrow but that’s all. Below are tonight’s expected lows across the region.
Note that this will not last, as we will be heading into a warming trend starting later this weekend. Then we could even have an early taste of summer before this month is over according to some long-range climate models.
