Bitter cold is on the way to the Central and Eastern US starting this week. Our pattern flip comes on Tuesday when a powerful low pressure system will march east. On the backside of the system will be arctic air that will move in and settle over the Central and Eastern US.
Temperatures will be crashing down over the next week, and with this cold air outbreak we will also be watching for potential snow to accumulate.
