Get ready, the Polar Express will visit the Carolinas late this weekend. Temperatures will take a tumble Sunday night on freezing gusty northwest winds. There will even be some snow showers in the mountains!
Take a look at some of the lows by Monday morning! Please bring pets indoors and take measures to prevent frozen pipes. This will be short-lived but significant cold.
No snow is in the forecast anytime soon, and we will warm up after this cold plunge, slowly. By Christmas Day, we will be in the 60s. Talk about weather whiplash!
