Beautiful Weekend Ahead; Major Cold Next Week

TODAY/WEEKEND:

This Friday will be fabulous, with blue sunny skies and rain-free. It’s a great day to get out and enjoy it, as is this weekend! It’s advisable to get outdoors for walks and overall health. Much better than sitting inside (especially if you work from home all the time). It will not feel like summer at all today, but rather a gorgeous fall day.

Above is the graphic for this weekend, which shows we warm up slightly, but nothing too insane. It should remain sunny and dry with perhaps a cloud or two, or not. But no rain is expected.

NEXT WEEK:

Our next major storm system approaches late Sunday night into early Monday morning. This is a large low pressure system with an associated cold front that will sweep across the East Coast. It looks like perhaps a mainly dry frontal passage for the Carolinas, however a wet Monday morning cannot be ruled out for some.

The remainder of Monday will likely be windy with crashing temperatures into Tuesday morning. Tuesday morning will be cold, however Wednesday morning will feel like winter. Lows will be in the 30s for many across the region, with some experiencing their first freeze of the season.

This chill looks to linger into the rest of next week! And likely into the end of the month. Colder than usual for all the cold winter lovers! This is your month.

Not mine.
