Blast of Fall Temperatures Expected Friday, Saturday

Fall weather lovers will rejoice on Friday and Saturday this week. While Thursday will be hot and humid, as well as Wednesday, a powerful cold front will move through on Thursday and could touch off some severe storms including damaging winds and even isolated tornadoes. This is the price we have to pay for the upcoming chilly mornings and nice weather!

Below is the temperature departure from normal for mid-day Friday. Highs will ONLY be in the 70s for many! That’s a far cry from the upper 80s and 90s!

And on Saturday, below, morning lows will be in the low 50s, so a light jacket may be needed for some!

So the colder air moves in Friday late-morning and throughout the day on Friday. It could be windy, so make sure to secure any loose outdoor objects. We’re not talking full out windstorm, but some decent gusts with the storms as the cold front moves through Thursday.

Keep those loose objects secured Thursday and Friday as FALL moves in!
