Cold Expected into Week of Thanksgiving

Surprise surprise, Thanksgiving is upon us….it’s….next week. Wow! I didn’t think it was almost that time, but here we are. It’s cold outside, and it’s going to get colder. January in November, as one of our Facebook posts said. So is the cold going to last? For now, it does. At least into the week of Thanksgiving. The Euro ensembles below still show the cold into Monday the 21st.

But what about Thanksgiving and the day after (Black Friday)? Well, it appears temps will return back to normal, and then even slightly above. So the temperature whiplash will continue. Below is the same model for Friday the 26th:

So it appears as though Black Friday activities will be busy, as it will be nice enough out for shopping, movies, going out to eat, etc. I would plan for crowds and traffic the day after Turkey Day.

But for now, the cold lovers will delight!
