Yes, tonight will be one of the coldest nights since last Christmas weekend. Protect pipes by shutting off outside water and putting a cover over outdoor spigots. There will be a solid freeze tonight, especially for more northern locations. Below are expected Wednesday morning lows, see below for your location:
The more bitter cold will be in northern NC as well as the mountains. The cold eases up a lot as the week progresses, and we even go back to normal temps. The beginning of December is looking mild, but then could go above normal at times. But not a torch by any means. Just could be normal or near normal.
