Cool Air Set to Arrive Saturday

As it was in the 80s today in Charlotte, a refreshing fall-like airmass will be welcomed on Saturday. Wednesday will see some overall cooler temperatures, but nothing like what is coming on Saturday. Get out and enjoy it however you can, since it will warmup quickly once again towards the end of the weekend and the beginning of next week. Highs on Saturday may only be around 70 for many, or maybe even lower. The Euro below is showing temperature anomalies compared to normal.

During the early part of next week, a Southeast Ridge takes shape and will quickly warm things up. This either may or may not be a sign of what’s to come this winter, but we don’t want to dampen the hopes of snow lovers. Here’s a look at what we can expect next week:

Temperatures will easily soar back into the 80s, and some locations will likely see 90 degree days. Readings in the 90s may actually be more widespread than first thought. The temporary cool down coming is just that. This time, the cold will not stick around and will quickly give way to warmer more humid air.
