Models Suggest Changes End of Month

While this weekend will be chilly in the mornings and evenings, and overall sunny and pleasant, it will start to warm up later this weekend and into early next week. We could only see highs on Saturday in the 60s and 70s for many.. Lows at night will likely dip into the 40s, and even upper 30s in the outlying areas. Next week we warm up into the 80s quickly.

However, another blast of fall air is expected later this month according to the GEFS ensembles. There could be a shot of cold air around the 28th, shown below, and then a reinforcing shot around the 30th, just in time for Halloween. The chilly air may finally start to linger later this month, and may not quickly erode like it will early next week. If these temperatures make it our way, we are talking upper 30s at night in the outlying areas, and low 40s near the cities.
