COOL DOWN COMING FOR MANY, MOST LIKELY TO BE FELT IN THE SOUTHEAST

The GEFS ensembles are locking on to the idea of below normal temperatures for this weekend. The cool trend starts Friday as a surface cold front pushes though. The only issue with this though will be the potential for severe thunderstorms, since there will be a clash of air masses.

The cool trend continues into the middle of next week! The air mass will move into place starting late week. Shown are the high temperatures on Friday. This will bring some relief compared to the last week! Highs only averaging around 81 Degrees F!

Enjoy the upcoming break from the heat! Hang in there!
