Wednesday morning will again be treacherous for drivers as water on the roadways will re-freeze as temperatures again will be hovering around the freezing mark to start. Temperatures will rise above freezing during the afternoon and a little warmer then yesterday. Clouds will be around for most of the day, but a few peaks of sun are likely.
Next 3 Days:
High pressure will remain in the area until Friday when our next system barrels through. During the day on Friday the region will be experiencing heavy rain and the potential for some severe weather. With the deep snowpack on the ground already and heavy rains expected, flooding will be a major concern heading into the weekend. After a brief warmup through mid-week next week, cold air will return heading into Christmas.
