Daily Forecast for 12/19

Daily Forecast for 12/19:

Discussion:

Wednesday will be another average day with partly sunny clouds in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, but mostly cloudy skies in the Southeast. Temperatures will continue to be around average.

Next 3 Days:

Temperatures will be warming up along the coast as a warm front will be moving through with our next system. Our next system brings heavy rain to the region starting on Thursday. Many areas will se another 1″-2″ of rain on top of already soaked grounds leading to some flooding that may occur on top of last weeks rain maker. Also, with a warm front approaching the region on Thursday, we are looking at a marginal risk along Cape Hatteras for some severe weather which includes damaging winds and a few waterspouts possible. After our system passes, temperatures will come crashing down again with cold air on the backside.
