Daily Forecast for Weather Conditions and High Temperatures for North and South Carolina

Daily Forecast for Thursday: Softer Side of Summer

The Daily Forecast for Thursday is going to be less dramatic than initially predicted. Thankfully, both high temps and humidity will be lower than expected at the start of the week. For all locations, we have that standard chance for widely scattered thundershowers. When I am putting together these maps, I try to make the icons as useful as possible; as a rule, a location only gets a lightning bolt icon if it has a 30% or greater chance of a thundershower. That being said, pretty much every location has a 20% or 30% chance of seeing a thundershower. The Wilmington and Myrtle Beach locations looks like they have the best chance of seeing nothing but sunshine on Thursday.

Temperatures will be in the mid 90s for most locations. Happily, the humidities are going to be relatively lower which will help reduce the heat index across the Carolinas. Not much rain in sight for the next several days, so be sure to keep those plants watered!
