Look for hot and humid conditions for your Tuesday with partly cloudy skies. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be around, particularly in the southern and western sections of the Carolinas. Areas more north and east in North Carolina will likely experience more isolated coverage and drier conditions overall. Areas that do see storms, carry the risk for an isolated strong or severe storm with gusty winds, hail, dangerous lightning, and torrential rainfall possible with any heavier cell .
