Daily Forecast for Wednesday, August 21st, 2019

Look for hot and humid conditions for your Wednesday with partly cloudy skies. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be around in the afternoon and evening hours, but not everyone will see precipitation. Areas that do see storms, carry the risk for an isolated strong or severe storm with gusty winds, hail, dangerous lightning, and torrential rainfall possible with any heavier cell . The Storm Prediction Center currently has far Northwest North Carolina under a “marginal” risk for a few strong to severe storms. That zone may or may not be expanded later to include more of the Carolinas.

Have a great Wednesday and take care.
