It will be a hot humid day where the air will be thick. Some locations will touch 90 degrees, other locations will see highs in the upper 80s. There will be a chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm, however these will be the exception rather than the norm. But be ready to take it indoors especially in the afternoon if you hear thunder. Best chance of rain will be along I-85 from Charlotte to Greensboro. Typical August summer day!
