Euro Ensembles Indicating a Significant Cold Shot Early Next Week

Don’t like the heat? Not to worry. We are not in a pattern that favors heatwaves. And I don’t think we will be in one for the rest of this summer. Yes there could be a random short-lived heatwave or two, but nothing like the past 2 summers. We will definitely feel pleasant next week.

Euro ensembles are indicating a significant trough in the East, which would mean cool and stormy. Highs would not get out of the 70s for many, and not even out of the 60s for some farther north. Shown is the Euro 500mb valid for Tuesday the 27th:
