Fall air still set to usher in this weekend

We will warm up Tuesday, and it will be warm and humid for the rest of this week, but fall changes are coming this weekend.

A major cooldown is coming this weekend, and changes will start to occur late Saturday as a cold front pushes in from the west. How cold it gets may go back in forth in the models this week, but we are still expecting a cold front this weekend. Below is the 2m temperatures departure from average on the GEFS ensemble.

What this will mean for our area is morning lows on Monday in the upper 40s for many inland, with 50s and 60s at the coast. The mountains COULD dip into the upper 30s Sunday night. There will be some chilly mornings also after Monday.

We will keep on top of this autumn outbreak, and will let you know if anything changes!
