February Heat Continues Into March

If there was a ever a rare snowless winter in over 100 years, it’s this one. Charlotte Airport has not recorded a trace which is the first time since the 1880s. Since there is no snow on the ground for much of the East Coast, it will be easier to heat the ground and then the air for the rest of the month.

Above the is SPC Outlook to end February and kick off March.

Thursday this week is expected to be the most extreme heat-wise, with daytime highs soaring into the mid 80s in spots! Get those A/C units checked on early this year, in case the real heat comes early such as in May.

Needless to say, there is no snow on the horizon for many in the foreseeable future.

Jesse will have more on the page as we get closer to March. He’s seeing some cold around mid-month, so watch for his posts!
