Frosty Night Expected for the Carolinas

Some of the cold weather lovers will want to rejoice and have a cup of coffee while outdoors early Saturday morning. Low temperatures across the region are expected to dip into the low 40s tonight and into early Saturday morning. There may be some dew on the grass or car windshields, but it won’t be just cold enough for frost around the Charlotte area. The only frost expected is in the mountains tonight.

Lows across the western Carolinas will be in the low 40s, with the upper 30s and patchy frost in the mountains, with upper 40s and low 50s across the eastern Carolinas.

Enjoy the moonlight chilly night tonight! Saturday looks to be a gorgeous fall day, but a bit chilly! However the sunshine may offset the chill during the daylight hours.
