GEFS Ensembles Continue to Show Below Average into Late August

THE TREND IS YOUR FRIEND, WHEN MODEL AGREEMENT OCCURS

The GEFS ensembles continue to agree on a cooler Southeast US through a majority of this month. Persistent upper-level disturbances causing a storm track across the Southeat will take shape. If this were to occur into winter, it would mean snow for the Southeast as in a neutral ENSO event. We’re looking at the GEFS around the 24th or so:
