Tropical Cyclone Analogs Agree Invest 99L Turns Right

ANALOGS FROM PAST CONDITIONS REVEAL INVEST 99L SHOULD POSE NO THREAT TO LAND

Many storms have had similar upper-air patterns for this time of year, as we are experiencing right now. A majority of the analogs match the new spaghetti plots, where the path would be a right hook and out to sea.

 

Current Global and Hurricane models all keep 99L offshore. This cyclone may get named if it nears tropical storm strength, which it likely could, but well offshore. For now, we are growing toward the East Coat resting easy. We will provide updates if anything changes!
