Persistent Trough in the East Will Mean Cooler

TROUGHING IN THE EAST WILL CAUSE BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES THROUGH MID-AUGUST

Looking ahead into the next week, much of the East will remain below normal for temperatures. Tuesday and Wednesday (shown) will be the start of some cooler weather moving in from the Upper Midwest.

Into late b next week, is when we will see another reinforcing shot of cooler air. Not a huge cool-down, but just slightly below normal for this time of year.

The same pattern will seem to be the case into Friday of next week also. Looking cooler than average!
