GFS rain totals through mid-August favor mountains

More heavy rain will continue to plague the western Carolinas over the next week, and even the next 2 weeks into mid-August. The mountains will see the heaviest up to 10.00 inches in a week. The rest of the Piedmont also has flooding risks, including Wilmington, Charlotte, Charleston, and Columbia. Don’t drive through flooded roads.
