GFS/Canadian Total Snowfall Amounts Through 21 Dec

Snowfall amounts up to December 21st, total. PA and the Northeast get much above average snowfall for this time of year. The GFS is printing out light wintry precip all the way down into Atlanta. I’m not so sure about any snow in NC and southward. Great Lakes are getting blasted, this is good, meaning the jet stream is super-active, and has the energy to create East Coast storms.

For comparison, the Canadian output is shown below.

This model shows no snow for the South except for Virginia.
