Halloween Trick-or-Treat Forecast and Beyond

Are you a ghoul or a goblin today? Well, it won’t matter much, since trick-or-treat conditions will be seasonal, but chilly. Please remember to practice safety at all times while out. The costumes should be enough protection from the chill this year, however some in the mountains may want to consider a coat. Below are the expected temps for 8pm tonight:

We are expecting a cold blast on or around the 4th and into the 10th. Please see our other articles here on the site discussing this. Many could see their first frost and freeze at some point between the 4th and the 10th.

Also, there is chatter about an Appalachian snow event next weekend, but the flakes will be limited to the higher elevations.

Happy Halloween, and happy November! Your CWA Admin turns 41 tomorrow 11/1! If you see this, wish Mike a happy birthday in the Facebook comments!
