I know some meteorologists are thinking Irma may go out to sea and she very well might. However, the models are still posing a very scary possibility. First I want to give you the GEFS:
Does this track remind of you any storm in particular? It reminds me of Hurricane Isabel. Which I remember like it was yesterday! The Euro paints a similar picture maybe a tad further to the East.
Either way, this is a storm that does pose a significant threat to the East Coast. Over the next few days we WILL get a better handle on whether she will go out to sea or if the threat of a US Landfall is real. And if it is, it could be one for the ages.
