Late-March Snow for Virginia This Weekend

All this is doing is delaying spring, but it has already sprung on the 20th. But for some across VA this weekend, it will feel far from it. Roanoke will most likely be in the sweet spot and will top out with 6-12″ inches, some spots closer to the 12″ mark, especially in the higher elevations. In the turquoise, folks could see flakes mixing with rain, but light or no accumulation is expected. Elsewhere farther south, we can expect all rain.

The NAM is really limiting snow to the northwest corner of VA. Start time is Saturday late afternoon or evening, and ends by Sunday morning.

After this storm exits, it will get cold once again! But we will warm up by Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
