March to Come in Like a Lion

While the airmass that is currently parked over us is quite chilly, it will moderate in the days ahead, and even as early as this weekend with the bright sunshine. Also it will feel nice outside into early next week. Then as we head into Friday of next week, temperatures will take a tumble once again. As we do have a leap year this year, Saturday the 29th could be almost as chilly as this Saturday, however that is not certain. But confidence is medium that it may not be just as cold.

The GEFS, Canadian ensembles, and Euro ensembles are all in agreement that the East Coast will see slightly below normal temperatures next Friday and into next Saturday. As of now, there is no snow threat for this next round of cold air, except for the mountains, perhaps.

For now, enjoy the sunshine! As we finish out February and head into March, the sun will stay up slightly longer. We will advise of any potential snow events, but for now looks like none!
