Winds will gust up to 45 mph today and tonight ahead of a cold front that will pass through. This front caused a historic Quad-State Tornado last night leaving a path of destruction. We don’t expect that kind of activity here in the Carolinas today and tonight, but there could be scattered power outages due to the winds picking up.

Winds will gust anywhere from 25 -35 mph near the coast, and 35-45 mph inland.

There could be a random spin-up, which is why the SPC has placed most of us under a Marginal Outlook. There is an outside chance of a severe storm today and tonight.

Have a source for severe weather warnings, just in case.
