It’s the last thing residents want to hear in the eastern Carolina’s, but there is the threat for more wind and rain. This time will be nothing like the power that Florence unleashed, but there still could be several inches of rain (not 7, several meaning more than one inch).
The Florida Panhandle and perhaps into south Georgia would see the most extreme impacts. Here in the Carolinas, we may see tornadoes in the eastern parts of the states. This storm will race off to the northeast, however we should remain elevated here in the Carolina’s and on a medium impact threat alert from Michael.
Michael will intensity on his approach to FL, perhaps as a Cat 2. It depends how much strengthening he can undergo between now and Wednesday. Keep the people of FL and GA in your thoughts and prayers.
