Mid Atlantic Snow Chances Remain Next Week

There is still some uncertainty in the models, as the GFS and Canadian both have different solutions for NC. The GFS is indicating light snow while the CMC is indicating rain for NC and SE VA.

Timing is Wednesday of the upcoming week. Interestingly enough, there is a storm that moves through on Tuesday also. This storm could drop some snow across SE PA.

This could be one combined storm, or two separate storms for the Northeast. For the South, there is some moderate agreement for VA snow. But for NC snow, the agreement is not there presently.

What about our friend the Euro? The most recent run has much of the snow disappearing from NC. This is not surprising since each model run changes and it’s getting closer to spring and thus warmer out.

There is a common theme here, and that is Virginia. Who will get how much is still not clear yet, but it’s hinting that someone will get some accumulating snow.
