Monday Morning Set to Deliver Coldest Temps

We know there are a lot of cold weather enthusiasts on here, and the news for this weekend will be welcome by many. A strong cold front will push through from our west, and will deliver some of the coldest temperatures so far this season.

Below is a map of Monday morning expected lows. For many, lows in the 40s are expected. There could be lows in the 30s in the mountains. Along the immediate coast, folks can expect morning lows in the 50s.

This is by no means a major Arctic outbreak, but rather a nice shot of some seasonal fall air. THIS is what a normal October feels like in the South, with chilly mornings and warm days. This will be perfect for an outdoor firepit, when used safely. Get some wood now so you’re ready for the weekend, mainly Sunday night.

Friday and Saturday will still be warm, and the changes will arrive on gusty winds late Saturday.
